Not every meeting needs to be a meeting. Convert your live meetings into async workflows with step-by-step plans and ready-to-use templates.
Enter your meeting details and click "Generate Async Conversion Plan" to see if this meeting can go async.
Status updates and information-sharing meetings are almost always fully convertible to async formats like threaded updates or recorded videos. Decision-making, feedback, and planning meetings can be partially converted — do the deliberation async and use a short sync call only for final alignment. Team building and brainstorming sessions generally work best as synchronous meetings, though you can add async pre-work to shorten them.
Time savings are calculated based on the meeting duration, number of participants, and frequency. We multiply the total person-minutes per meeting by the conversion rate (85% for fully convertible, 50% for partially convertible, 10% for keep-synchronous meetings) and then project across weekly, monthly, and annual timeframes. The savings represent total person-hours saved across all participants, not just the organizer.
Every async workflow includes built-in escalation rules. If consensus isn't reached within the response deadline, the plan recommends scheduling a short focused sync call (typically 10-20 minutes) to resolve the specific blocker. This hybrid approach gives you the best of both worlds: thoughtful async deliberation with a safety net for when real-time discussion is needed. Setting clear deadlines and using structured templates also helps prevent drift.
